Recap of Dirt Conference

NLC just attempted our first conference in our 8 1/2 year existence as a church called the Dirt Conference. It was aimed at people who work in creative arts at churches and how to use what you already have in your hand. Budget, resources, programs, volunteers, etc. The theme was “Something From Nothing.”

My opinion was that is was wildly successful. Yes, I even added the adjective “wildly.”

Brilliant lab presenters, creative atmosphere, authentic vibe, Etroupe performance,  400+ humble leaders, and main speakers Rick Bezet, Neil Greathouse, Anne Jackson, and Dino Rizzo made this conference a win.

Wildly Successful, indeed. The worship was amazing, main session presenters were dead on in what I believe God is doing in the life of my family and church and the lab presenters were very “real” and informative. Everyone was so kind and helpful. It was a blessed experience….can’t wait til the next one. We took back home with us a lot of somethings to put into action in our church. Just want to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication.
