Today Not Tomorrow

I’ve been thinking about a little concept called living for today. Not tomorrow.
Paul told the church at Corinth “Today is the day of salvation.” II Corinthians 6:2
The psalmist says “This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24
Jesus said, “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” Matthew 6:34
Sometimes I carry too much weight and pressure in my mind and subconscious about the future. I worry about tomorrow. I dwell on the unknowns. I am a planner. I am a control freak. I am a perfectionist.
But it’s really all about TODAY. God made this day good.
And it’s all about HIM. And what He’s already done and what He’s already made good.
This is one of my “tweets” from today:
“Live for Christ TODAY because TODAY turns into TOMORROW and TOMORROW turns into the NEXT DAY. Live one day at a time!”
